These valves are used for taking random samples for monitoring the biological condition of product lines. Suitable products: media without suspended particles and of low viscosity, e.g. water, beer, milk, juices without fruit pulp.

The tank safety system VARITOP® is a modular system based on standardized components. VARITOP® is used for tank cleaning, to protect tanks against inadmissible overpressure and vacuum and for controlled gassing and degassing.

VARIVENT® constant pressure valves are used to adjust the inlet pressure of the valve on a constant level. In case of any process-related pressure fluctuations, the valve opens or closes to compensate them. The needed product pressure will set through the air supply pressure to the actuator. Therefore a constant air control pressure is required.

The VARIVENT® modular system has many versions available for optimizing the valves in the process system. The portfolio comprises two different control valve types.

Magnetic separators of the type MAS B are equipped with a magnetic unit incorporating the permanent magnets which remain in the rods at all times.

Magnetic separators of the type MAS H enable simplified cleaning of the magnetic rods by deactivating the magnetic field via a hand lever. The innovative locking device minimizes the risks of mis-manipulation during cleaning operations.

Magnetic separators of the type MAS PA are suitable for cleaning in place processes. The magnetic field can be deactivated via a pneumatic actuator which enables our customers to run the magnetic separator in a fully automated process.

Hygienic steam inlet valves are used for the monitored supply of steam in containers or tanks.

An aseptic pigging system allows to recover cost intensive products out of product lines. Powered by compressed sterile air, the pig pushes the product out of the pipe. The remaining product film on the inside of the product line can then be removed with the CIP.

High pressure pumps are capable of operating at a maximum working pressure of 600 bar. This type of piston pumps is ideal for viscous products, in fact, the choice of the pump to use varies according to the characteristics of the product and it is useful to contrast the pressure drop caused by a component installed downstream the plant.

Product Recovery Systems are used for the recovery of valuable products from pipe systems. The VARICOVER® Product Recovery System has been redesigned according to the new 3A standard for use in the US beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries. The new pigging system design has implemented a more user friendly assembly and adjusting of all position sensors.

In connection with a standard evaluation unit, the conductive electrode is mainly used for level detection in tanks.

In the current process technology, fixed piping systems lead to permanently closed systems within the single plants which do not allow the operator to have a direct view into the production process. By equipping the pipelines with VARINLINE® housings, control and measurement instruments can be installed within the piping systems to monitor the production process.

Due to its special structural shape, the instrument can be used for the measurement of excess and vacuum pressures.

Sight glasses inserted into the VARINLINE® access unit or into a housing connection flange (for vessels and tanks) are used for visual monitoring of the product.

The gas expansion thermometer is characterized by its robust design and the ideal, fully welded installation within the VARINLINE® process connections.

A special feature of this valve is that one of the valve housings may be pushed out using a pig. This technique allows for the recovery of high quality products at the end of a process step and thus to minimize product residues inside the pipe.
