Kelvion Condensers and Gas Coolers are based upon modular designs. We offer various fan sizes, multiple speeds and suppliers, coupled with an extensive range of tube and fin profiles, to enable products to be tailored accurately to meet the application demands. The wide range of fan choices ensures that the optimal balance between air volume and capacity, operational noise levels and power consumption to meet market price levels are achieved. The tube and fins can be supplied in various materials, depending on the internal or external corrosion properties.
The MS range of fully weatherproof air cooled condensers, consists of nine models, each with two fan speed options, giving 18 models in total. The unit can be installed either vertically or horizontally, floor or wall mounted, by using the supplied mounting legs, which are also used to provide additional protection for header and return bends during transport.
The V-Bank configuration are suitable for all refrigeration and air conditioning applications and can also be configured as dry air liquid coolers. With a combination of three coil widths and three module lengths and two fans wide the available range can now achieve up to twelve metres long and has an option of 20 fans.
The RF range of fully weather-proofed air cooled condensers is suitable for a wide variety of applications, with a duty range of 26.9 kW to 1166 kW. These capacities can be achieved both in flat-bed horizontal and vertical configurations. Using the latest innovative design this new generation of condenser can use 12 mm tube that reduces cost and refrigerant charge, also the case work has been specifically designed for the optimisation of air flow and increased strength with reduced weight.
The RF-SJ, in the RF range has been developed to replace the popular ME condenser. This product has been optimized for the capacity range between the MSA and the larger RF condenser. The RF-SJ reflects features from both product ranges, such as profiled side plates and versatile leg arrangements to ensure the high level of quality our customers expect will be met. The highly efficient EL-Fin has been configured for the condensers and dry coolers within the range to achieve optimized thermal performance within a given footprint.
The NF range of air cooled condensers has been designed for use with ammonia (NH3) as the working refrigerant. It is suitable for a wide range of applications with a duty range of 11 kW to 1270 kW. Known to be used as a refrigerant as early as the 1850’s, ammonia has recently gained interest amongst equipment specifiers and end users because of its impressive environmental credentials; such as no global warming potential and zero ozone depletion factor.
Based on the standard condenser ranges, the main difference to other CO2 coolers is that the CO2 units of the GF range have a maximum operating pressure of 120 BarG and incorporate a number of unique design features, including expansion gaps in the coil plates and extended coil tubes to ensure a long service life.
